This is so exciting to have found so many descendants of Jemima. When I first started this venture in 2007, there was so very little that I knew about Jemima’s children. Most of the research on Henry H., William, and Shadrack has been done by Bobby Dobbins Title (descendant of Nancy Maryland Corel) and shared on her blog, Immortal Nobodies.
Charles “Charlie” Pack was the youngest child of Martha Jane McGlothlin and her second husband, Alvin Pack. Charles was born in August 1879 in Kentucky. About 1896 he married Laura Fannon. On the 1900 census, while living in Pear Orchard, Lawrence County, Kentucky, Charlie listed his occupation as a coal miner1. The 1940 census shows Charlie, age 65, is the head of the household including his wife, daughter and her husband, two grandsons, a wife of one grandson, and his great-grandson. Charlie is now working as a laborer on a road construction crew in Himlerville, Martin County, Kentucky2.
