How very exciting! I do not know of any Puckett’s in my line that made it down to Louisiana, but that certainly doesn’t mean that they didn’t head that way!

How interesting that you have a McGlothlin connection, too! Isn’t it a small world that we may have two allied lines?

I’m so glad that you enjoyed my photos here, I just couldn’t keep it down to just one… But, I’m pretty sure that I will only have one on the next installment!

Thanks for following my blog, Genealogy Traces. I don’t think I’ve mentioned to you that the Puckett surname is one of my most researched lines. Harvey Vandegar Puckett born in Many, Louisiana is my great-grandfather. Maybe we can find a link.

Also, my niece’s father’s line is McGlothlin and I’ve done a bit of research for them. But I don’t have any of the names or places on the tip of my tongue. I’ll have to look back at my files.
